The University of North Carolina offers Levine Scholarships to approximately 20 incoming freshmen. These scholars will receive full tuition, room, board, books and mandatory fees for eight semesters of undergraduate study at UNC Charlotte.  Scholars will also have access to funding for four summer experiences, a service grant, and a professional development fund.  The combined value of the scholarship over four years is $155,000.

Candidates must be applicants for freshman enrollment at UNC Charlotte in a bachelor's program for the fall term immediately following their high school graduation. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and should present an excellent academic record, demonstrate a commitment to community service and possess a capacity for ethical leadership.

For more information, go to http://levinescholars.uncc.edu/.  The deadline for me to submit nominations is October 8 so see me before then if you are interested in applying for the scholarship.
